Being backstage with Mike and the Mechanics in Berlin was an incredible experience. From intimate behind-the-scenes moments as the band prepared for the show, to the camaraderie and quiet focus before hitting the stage, I captured a side of the band fans rarely see. These backstage photography moments show the personalities, preparation, and energy that go into a professional live performance, offering a rare glimpse behind the curtain.

Once the performance began, the energy in the venue was electric. The live concert photography captured the dynamic performance, moving musicians, and vibrant stage lighting, creating striking visuals that convey the excitement of the gig. From sweeping light shows and dramatic stage effects to expressive moments on stage, every shot tells the story of a performance full of passion, energy, and presence.

This project perfectly blends the intimacy of backstage photography with the spectacle of live music photography, creating a comprehensive view of the band’s world both on and off stage. The images showcase the atmosphere of the Berlin concert, highlighting both the technical skill of capturing fast-paced movement and the emotional connection between the band and their audience.
