Páramo — Outdoor Apparel Photography for an Ethical British Brand
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Páramo Directional Clothing, the innovative British outdoor apparel company based in Wadhurst, East Sussex. Founded in the early 1990s by the creator of Nikwax, Páramo is known for its high‑performance, environmentally conscious clothing that keeps outdoor enthusiasts comfortable in even the toughest conditions.
Páramo’s products are designed around the unique Nikwax Analogy® fabric system — a waterproof and breathable technology that moves moisture efficiently without relying on traditional membrane layers, and the entire range is manufactured with care and ethical practices, including production that supports vulnerable communities.
For this project, I created crisp, detailed product photography that highlights the design, texture, and practical features of Páramo’s garments. The aim was to convey the clothing’s rugged performance and sustainable ethos in a way that resonates with outdoor lovers — whether they’re walking, hiking, or exploring off‑grid. The images are used across Páramo’s online presence, marketing materials, and product catalogues, helping to visually communicate the brand’s commitment to quality, functionality, and environmental responsibility.
Working with a brand that combines technical excellence with ethical values has been a highly rewarding collaboration, and these photos reflect the character and durability of Páramo’s outdoor clothing in a way that supports both its mission and its audience.
